Communities in the Niger-Delta support Voluntary Principle

For the past one week, LITE-Africa has been on the roads of Isoko South Communities, Warri and Yenegoa City sensitizing stakeholders Under its project “A Call to Action: Engaging Stakeholders on the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights."

The aim is to attain 2000 signatures by 24th February 2014 to persuade the Nigerian Government to fulfil its state “duty to protect” and be part of the VPs globally.

We will be sharing the lessons learnt after the 2 weeks exercise.
