LITE-Africa Staff on the road of Niger Delta calling the Citizens to sign on for VP’s.

For the past one week, LITE Africa has been on the roads of Isoko south communities, Warri, and Yenagoa City Sensitizing the stakeholders…

Under its project “A Call to Action: Engaging Stakeholders on the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights” LITE-Africa staff have been on the streets of Warri, Koko, Idheze, Uzere, Aviara, Enhwe and Orerokpe sensitizing the general public on the VPs and how they can join the movement to end Human Rights Violations in Nigeria by signing on.

The aim is to attain 2000 signatures by 24th February 2014 to persuade the Nigerian Government to fulfil its state “duty to protect” and be part of the VPs globally.
